Spring weather is returning now after a few days of cold, snow, and ice returning to the flowages. There is just a little bit of snow left on the ground, and only a little ice left in the marshes. With the weather forecast for the next few days, all of the snow and ice should be gone soon.
Numbers of migrating birds are increasing slowly each week, with a few species showing up here and there. We know that this will start to pick up in the next couple of weeks.
