(Dates that conflict with holidays or are close to holidays will be changed). \nTicket sales close 6 weeks before the meeting. You only need to purchase a ticket if you need a copy of the book supplied for you. The $15 ticket fee covers the cost of the book. If you want to obtain the book on your own\, please choose the free RSVP instead of purchasing a ticket. \nZoom links will be sent directly to your email when you RSVP/purchase a ticket. DESCRIPTION:Join WDNR staff and Friends of Crex members to help clean up Crex Meadows\, Fish Lake\, and Amsterdam Sloughs State Wildlife Areas in celebration of Earth Day. Trash bags\, high visibility vests and gloves will be provided. The Friends of Crex will host a lunch for participants at 12:00 pm to thank you for your help keeping our public lands clean! SUMMARY:Friends of Crex Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The annual meeting is scheduled for the fourth Sunday in September each year from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The social before the meeting is held in the Crex Meadows Meeting & Gathering Hall. \nGather and chat at 1:00 p.m. to enjoy refreshments. At 1:45 p.m. we will move to the Visitor Center for the meeting. Expect to hear a recap of the last year\, vote for new board members\, and watch volunteer awards be announced. Plus\, we will select two lucky members in attendance to receive free Crex Meadows merchandise! \nBallots to vote for new board members will be available at the meeting. If you would like to vote but cannot attend the meeting\, they will be available online closer to the meeting date and will be emailed to members we have email addresses for. If you would like to request a mail-in ballot\, please call the Friends of Crex Coordinator\, Dicey\, at 715-463-1220. \nAll members are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting! \nAnnual meeting dates\, times\, and details are subject to change. \n
