(Dates that conflict with holidays or are close to holidays will be changed). \nTicket sales close 6 weeks before the meeting. You only need to purchase a ticket if you need a copy of the book supplied for you. The $15 ticket fee covers the cost of the book. According to one scientist who was there at the time\, polar bears were treated more like “great white rats” than the worlds largest predator. But then something remarkable happened. Kids will have the opportunity to learn to shoot a bow\, learn to set up a fishing rod\, and learn some of the basics of firearm safety. *Please note that this does NOT count as an official Hunter Education Course. \nThe first 2 days of camp will be hosted at the Crex Meadows Wildlife Education & Visitor Center at 102 E Crex Ave\, Grantsburg. The third\, and final\, day of camp will be hosted at Memory Lake Park in downtown Grantsburg. ***Parents will need to drop off AND pick up kids at Memory Lake Park on Day 3.*** \nKids will be allowed to bring their own fishing equipment on Day 3 if they have their own.

At 1:45 p.m. we will move to the Visitor Center for the meeting. Expect to hear a recap of the last year\, vote for new board members\, and watch volunteer awards be announced. Plus\, we will select two lucky members in attendance to receive free Crex Meadows merchandise! \nBallots to vote for new board members will be available at the meeting. If you would like to vote but cannot attend the meeting\, they will be available online closer to the meeting date and will be emailed to members we have email addresses for.
