It is winter, but still no reason to put the camera away. This is one of John Pennoyer’s favorite times to photograph!

In the classroom session, John will cover techniques for getting the correct exposure with our landscape covered in snow, photographing wildlife in their winter environment, and even doing some macro/close-up photography of snow-covered subjects. Also covered will be how to protect your equipment in a snowy/wet environment and how to dress to keep yourself as comfortable as possible in a cold snowy environment! We will then venture outside to practice all of those skills learned in the classroom.

Equipment: Bring your camera equipment and all lenses plus a tripod. Dress for the weather!

Skill Level: “Advanced” Beginner- you should know how to use and adjust the settings on your camera for the most part.
