Interested in volunteering with us at Crex? Come help us repair the boardwalk behind the visitor center!

Volunteers should be comfortable using a drill and all participants will need to sign a volunteer waiver. Depending on the number of participants, the workday may last more or less than 4 hours. Join us for all or just part of the workday. The project will be led by a DNR staff member. PPE will be provided, but we recommend bringing a pair of work gloves and/or safety glasses if you have them.

Volunteers must be 18+ to participate, or be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please contact us if you plan to bring a volunteer under 18 so we can have the appropriate consent forms available.

Lunch will be provided for all volunteers! Please RSVP below if you plan to attend so we can prepare tools and food.
