The Burnett County Community Education Program presents the Outdoors with Lauren series. This fall, attend up to four classes led by WDNR Natural Resources Educator, Lauren Thomas.

The first event in the series is focused on swan reintroduction and current management:

Burnett County is home to hundreds of Trumpeter Swans, but did you know that there were once NONE of these birds left here? Learn about how the WI DNR and partners were able to successfully reintroduce these beautiful birds to the area, and about how they are tracked and managed today!
