The Burnett County Community Education Program presents the Outdoors with Lauren series. This fall, attend up to four classes led by WDNR Natural Resources Educator, Lauren Thomas.

Sharp-tailed Grouse are a rare bird in Wisconsin, but in Burnett County, we have a growing population! Learn about the ecology and history of Sharp-tailed Grouse in our area. Also, find out how the WI DNR manages habitat for sharp-tails and about how their population is monitored throughout the year.
