Sharp-tailed Grouse Lek Tour 5:00 am- 8:00 am
Caravan around Crex Meadows in search of Sharp-tailed Grouse participating in their mating displays.
Bird Watching Tour 7:00 am- 9:00 am
Join local bird expert, Dick Sandve, for a tour focusing on viewing migrating birds. Caravan around the property.
Herptiles of Crex Hike 8:30 am- 9:30 am
Join us for a hike in search of reptiles and amphibians of Crex. This hike is great for adults and children alike!
Native Flowers Hike 9:30 am- 11:00 am
Join native prairie plant expert, Alex Bouthilet, for a hike in search of blooming flowers. Caravan to locations on Crex Meadows property, then hike to look for plants.
Wisconsin Birds with Chris Cold 10:00 am- 12:00 pm
Join retired DNR technician, Chris Cold, for a talk focusing on Wisconsin birds. Then meet a couple of live birds, and take a property tour to search for local species.
Birding Hike 1:00 pm-2:30 pm
Caravan to the Crex Rest Area, then hike the Rest Area trail in search of warblers and other migrating birds.
Wheels & Wildlife Bike Ride 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm
Join us for a bike ride around Crex to view wildlife in a unique way! Bring your own equipment.
